About the job.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Alf, you'll play a key role in optimizing and securing our Azure-based infrastructure. You'll work closely with senior engineers, leveraging their expertise and collaborating on best practices to drive efficiency, scalability, and security. While there are solid foundations in place, you’ll have the opportunity to refine, optimize, and elevate our platform to the next level.

Looking ahead, this role will evolve into a Platform Engineer position, giving you the opportunity to shape the future of our infrastructure, drive automation, and further enhance scalability and resilience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Azure resources.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate build processes and deploy code using Azure DevOps.
• Ensuring our environment meets security requirements by proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Overseeing and optimizing cloud resources in Azure.
• Troubleshooting and improving performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Develop monitors and alerts for errors and performance.

About you.

As a seasoned DevOps Engineer, you bring strong expertise in Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. You have hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and a passion for automation, scalability, and security.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside other senior engineers to exchange knowledge and refine strategies. Your problem-solving mindset helps you anticipate bottlenecks and streamline workflows before they become issues. Experience in DevSecOps is a big advantage, as security is integral to our operations.
