About the job.

As a DevOps Engineer at Alf, you'll drive the efficiency and security of our Azure-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our development teams to optimize our applications and infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your role includes building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud resources, and ensuring that our systems meet security requirements.

You’ll be hands-on with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and terraform, and play a key role in troubleshooting, performance optimization while proactively identifying security risks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Azure resources.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate build processes and deploy code using Azure DevOps.
• Ensuring our environment meets security requirements by proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Overseeing and optimizing cloud resources in Azure.
• Troubleshooting and improving performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Develop monitors and alerts for errors and performance.

About you.

As a seasoned DevOps Engineer, you possess a strong foundation in Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. You have hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration. As an automation enthusiast, you're skilled in streamlining workflows, optimizing performance, and ensuring security in cloud environments. Having experience in DevSecOps, is a huge plus, as security is a vital part of our operations.

Technical expertise aside, you are detail-oriented and take pride in anticipating and addressing bottlenecks before they escalate into bigger issues. You work well independently but also thrive in a collaborative, agile team setting, where effective communication is key. Furthermore, you are always eager to learn new technologies and you’re adaptable to changing workflows and challenges.
